The Importance of asking questions - Issue #33

Hello ,

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why asking questions are so important?

Before we can start to ponder the importance of a question we first need to define what a question is. The definition of a question is a sentence, phrase or word that seeks information, usually through a reply, but it can also be through research or investigation.

Thus, questions are the way in which we as humans learn about the world around us. However, what happens if a question doesn't have an answer?

In science a question without an answer is a great starting point for a research project. The aim will then be to discover the unknown in order to answer the question.

Many of the technological, medical and agricultural advances that we have today is due to a question that was asked and did not have an answer at that time.

Do not be afraid to ask questions, because there is no such thing as a silly question. You might just ask a question without an answer that could change the world forever!

Weekly Top Shot:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" - Matthew 7:7 - 11
